- Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity in your account.
- Each account is for one person. Hiring teams add colleagues by invitation, and each one uses a seat on the company’s plan.
For job seekers
RoleMate is free for job seekers. You control your profile and your privacy choices. RoleMate does not guarantee interviews, offers or employment, and hiring decisions are made by the companies you apply to.
For hiring teams
- Post only real, open positions and describe them accurately.
- Use candidate information only to recruit for your company, keep it confidential, and follow the privacy, employment and human rights laws that apply to your hiring.
- Make your own hiring decisions. Do not reject or select candidates based only on an AI score.
- You are responsible for your team’s activity and for any agreements you make with candidates, including through Deel.
Plans, credits and payments
- Paid plans are billed monthly in Canadian dollars through Stripe until you cancel. You can change or cancel your plan from Billing in your workspace.
- Credits pay for job activations, first likes in discovery and AI features, as listed on our pricing page. Credits included with a plan reset at the start of each billing month and do not roll over.
- Plan limits, such as active jobs and team seats, apply as shown on our pricing page. We will tell you before we change the price of your plan.
AI features
AI features are optional and can be wrong. Treat AI scores, summaries and answers as a starting point and check anything important yourself.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Copy, scrape or bulk-download profiles, jobs or other information from RoleMate.
- Send spam, post misleading or discriminatory content, or ask candidates for payment.
- Access accounts or information you are not authorized to, or try to break or get around RoleMate’s security or limits.
- Use RoleMate to break any law or someone else’s rights.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add, such as your profile, resume, job posts and messages. You give RoleMate permission to store, process and display it as needed to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Suspension and closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or RoleMate at risk, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Disclaimers and liability
We work to keep RoleMate available and accurate, but we provide it as is and cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, RoleMate is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made by candidates or hiring teams. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We will post changes here and update the date above. For significant changes, we will tell you in RoleMate or by email before they take effect. If you keep using RoleMate after that, the new terms apply.
